Why River Heights Music?

Equipment: We make sure all cables and amplifiers are professional grade and, of course, in working order. All drumset lessons are on a professional drumset.
The extras: We write regular articles on practice and other information related to music lessons. We give unbiased advice about that 1st instrument purchase and all other equipment purchases that come after.
Year End Recording Session and CD We are the only music school that offers a professional grad CD recording of a students progress for the year!
Attention to Detail: All students learn to read music and the fundamentals are stressed so the fun of music and the learning can continue forever!
Registration Fee: We have no registration fee at this time.
Qualified Teaching: Almost all music schools have varying levels of experience in their teaching staff but guess what? You get charged the same whether you get the experienced teacher or last year's student who is now an untested teacher. While some places may have a big name, many locations or come to your door you may not necessarily get a qualified or experienced teacher. Read my Bio here

From beginner to professional.
A comprehensive study of the drums. From simple Rock beats, to the complex Jazz and Latin rhythms.
Students will be taught fundamentals from approved syllabi.

Tips on Practising
I give a simple formula for practising
1: Everyday
2: 3 minutes per line of music assigned (for bass and guitar students)
2a: 3 minutes per beat assigned (for drummers)
I also recomend that parents set aside a time for practice that is before any other activities.
