When hiring a band or musician sometimes people ask for a demo CD. This is a great idea if you are hiring a group that specializes in a particular style. (dance, ethnic, etc) But when hiring professional musicians who play in a very wide assortment of groupings and styles it becomes very hard for us to have a large selection of examples. It is best to ask about the number of engagments they have done similar to yours.
